The news comes days after the NWSLPA and NWSL revealed details of a groundbreaking Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) which notably eliminates the draft, ends trades without Player consent, establishes guaranteed contracts, secures free agency for all, safeguards Player health through workload management, and institutes revenue sharing. The Players announced today will be the first Players to take advantage of the new free agency terms, marking a historic moment for women’s sports and beyond.
