Not many teams get to open the season on a winning streak. Somers and Rye got back to work Saturday, the first day Section 1 high school football teams were allowed to practice. Both are coming off state titles. The Tuskers won 13 straight games before repeating in Class A. The Garnets won 10 in a row and celebrated a Class B title.
