𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 "𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞" 🛩️ Cadet Squadron 20 has been called "Trolls" 🧌 since 1972 but that all changes after their renaming ceremony in Polaris Hall on Sept. 21. This ceremony will signify the official change to "Red Tails", named after the nation’s first African American aircrews. The idea for the redesign started with a lunchtime conversation between then-third-degree cadets Julian Jackson and Jillian Howe. "Today, we are trying our best to emulate what the Tuskegee Airmen did so well, fighting through adversity and being excellent at what we do,” said C1C Jackson.
