Members of the Class of 2025 attended our Senior Companions Retreat in Midland, Ontario, Canada this past weekend, held at the site of the North American Martyrs Shrine. The group prayed and held Mass at the site of the saints’ martyrdom (photo with stone altar), visited their burial site and also celebrated Mass at the altar of St. Pope John Paul II’s visit 40 years ago. The students spent the three-day, two-night retreat without any phones or technology.
