MNF is going on right now, but here are my takeaways from a busy Week 9 slate of games. CONTENDERS? - I bought into the Bucs. I really believed in their once great run defense, but now after getting absolutely destroyed by the Saints, I have no idea what this team’s future is. The Steelers almost lost to the worst defense in the league playing their 4th-string QB. I don’t know how. Big Ben left the game briefly but it was near the end of the half and came back to lead the Steelers to a win, so he should be alright. I believe that this Steelers defense is by far the best in the league, but if next week’s game against the Bengals ends up being this close, I will have serious questions about the Steelers postseason hopes. The Dolphins look really really good. Not beat the Chiefs good, maybe not even win the AFC East good, but they have trend the corner and have a super bright future.
