For the past few months, I have been obsessed with the look of large-format film. I tried replicating that look on my recent trip to Cades Cove. The resulting images are some of the best I have ever taken. While some are wide-angle photos fitted to the aesthetic of large format film, others are panoramas explicitly taken to mimic the look of a large format film camera. Using the 50mm and slowly panning on a tripod, I could capture 5 to 30 pictures per scene at a slightly different angle. In Adobe Lightroom, I was then able to stitch the photos together into a panorama to mimic the resolution of large-format film and the size of a large-format camera sensor. This was shot on a Canon R6 Mrk II with a Canon EF 50mm F2.8 and a Canon EFS 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 All images were edited in Adobe Lightroom. canonusa lightroom #shotoncanon . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #landscapephotography #landscape #nature #naturephotography #photography #ig #ph...
