And so began the weird looks, nosy guests watching from windows, and occasional visitor from the building. We were hoping to have the build livable by the end of our lease. Unfortunately, this did not happen. Jordan was picking up a shift from a hotel in Orlando and they were kind enough to tolerate our building in the parking lot. Naturally, this did not come without people feeling *some* type of way about us building there - but Jordan was working often and I could spend my time building with his help on property between tasks and before/after he clocked in. Pretty cool thing is we met people like @theplant_basedmama from across the continent who happened to be at the hotel - We will never forget her kindness while she was traveling in Florida - she brought us late night meals while we were building and left us with almost a months load of groceries. And so began the real van life vibes of making friends in unexpected areas and experiencing unusual looks from others 😂😅�...
