The worst part about people pleasers building a van is when our friends and family look at your build and seem to think, “you’ve only made it this far?” The gut response is guilt - feeling lazy, like you’ve procrastinated, like you haven’t done enough. But, we’ve continued to push forward while helping our families, spending time with friends, and finding adventure in the little moments (like building a van to a backdrop of fireworks). We know it’s all love, and sometimes we create false ideas in our own head - but it’s been important to remember that our own process is between us and no one else at the end of the day.
