This dinner experience in Denver is so unique. ✨ I recently got to visit the new @ukiyo_omakase in Downtown Denver and it was one of our favorite restaurant experiences to-date. Ukiyo opened back in February, and I’ve heard nothing but great things about it. Drawing inspiration from Japanese bath houses, Ukiyo is an exclusive 12 seat bar with two nightly seatings (Tues-Sat). This isn’t just a meal, but a culinary journey. Chef Phaseuth ‘Paul’ Sananikone takes guests through an intimate Chef’s table experience, and you get to hear about each dish, how it is put together, the ingredients used, and the inspiration behind it. We were so lucky to get to experience their new “Kaiseki” menu, which is considered Japan’s highest form of haute cuisine, made of seasonal, local ingredients which showcase balance in color, flavor, texture, ripeness, and temperature.
