We are proud to announce that Advance Community Health has been awarded a $1 million grant from Wake County to support the expansion of our walk-in/urgent care facility, Advance Axcess, on Capital Boulevard. This expansion aims to serve 2,500 new unique patients and 2,000 walk-in patients, enhancing access to vital healthcare services in the community. Advance Axcess will offer a wide range of services to address urgent/acute illness including colds, flu, fevers, minor injuries, accidents, injuries, and wellness needs, vaccinations, immunizations, COVID testing, STD testing, labs, and more. The grant will provide $200,000 annually over a 5-year period. The funding will be used to cover the cost of the property lease for 5 years and to expedite the upfit of the health center to include a radiology suite.
