This stairwell at our owner’s (Kiril Ratia) renovated house in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago was fully rebuilt! In order to keep the old character of the home, his wife- Megan decided to source antique newel posts, that then got refinished and installed for their new stairs. Additionally they used some stock stair parts and trim, which ended up being a very budget conscious decision that didn’t impair the visual integrity of the whole project. What do you think?
