Our planet is dying. And we are the only ones that can save it. Story time: When I visited California for the first time back in October, I was beyond excited to check another state off of my list. I have seen thousands of photos of Yosemite and the surrounding areas and I was so ready to be blown away by the true beauty of it all. When I arrived, I was beyond disappointed. While driving through the Sierra National Forest leading into Yosemite, I the damage done by wildfires was astronomical! I felt like I wasn’t even on our planet anymore. Seeing the destruction of this beautiful area caused by fires whether natural or caused by humans, this made me realize just how important it is to take care of our planet. And while forests do grow back eventually, the amount of wildlife that was offset or killed from something like this can never be undone. So please. Take care of our home. It’s the only one we have.
