Football players have multiple different helmet models to sport during the game. Throughout fall practice, we have been keeping track of which helmet models each player has been wearing.⁣ The Auburn football team is wearing six different helmet models, with one clearly being the preferred style.⁣ No one helmet model is safer than another. It really comes down to what helmet fits the player's head the best. The safest helmet is the best-fitting helmet. (99 players were accounted for this year, with 22 unaccounted for.
