ElizabethStreetGarden, a cherished oasis in NYC, is set for destruction this September to make way for 123 units of senior affordable housing, luxury retail, and office space. 🌿😢 This sacred space has long been a refuge for New Yorkers, and its loss would deeply impact the community. Thousands, including 123+ local seniors, 120+ businesses, and notable supporters like Robert De Niro, Martin Scorsese, and Patti Smith, are urging nycmayor to reconsider. They’ve proposed alternative sites where housing can be built without sacrificing the garden. Visit our bio NYbucketlist 👈 to send a pre-written letter with a few taps and donate to the legal fund to help keep the garden open. #NYbucketlist #elizabethstreetgarden #nyc
