For part two of our Women Who Grill event with elizabethpoett, we shared a beautiful meal under the 100-year-old wisteria vines at her family’s historic ranchosanjulian.
The family-style dinner featured garden herb focaccia with Kerrygold butter; heirloom tomato salad with wild arugula; basil red wine vinaigrette & lemon zest gremolata; grilled summer vegetables; red oak grilled tri-tip; mesquite-seared prawns with cilantro-lime chimichurri; and herb-roasted fingerling potatoes & haricot verts with kalamata olives, shallots, and citrus.
The meal was accompanied by cocktails, including a blackberry margarita featuring codigo1530, lime & seltzer, and Grüner Veltliner from Camins2Dreams, a winery owned by wife-and-wife duo tgomez805 and mtaribo. For dessert, we had lemon bars and triple chocolate brownie bites with local berries plus absolutus jelly treats made by solidwiggles.
