Spend a day with us in NYC. future_pilot_gabriel and I commuted into the city via the nywaterway ferry from Port Imperial and took it straight into midtown (39th St). We went to visit the intrepidmuseum in midtown right on the Hudson River and it was a very cool experience. It was fun to learn what an integral part it played in WWII but of course the highlight is seeing all the planes on top with the backdrop of the NYC Skyline. You can’t beat that. An extra experience was visiting the Concord - this was on Gabe’s bucket list since none of these types of planes are in commission anymore. This is an extra fee at the museum but worth checking out. Fun fact - one way to ride the concord back in the day $16k 😱. Definitely get tickets ahead for both the museum and to visit the Concord. Plan to spend about 3 hours total here.
