BUGATTI’s legacy, both past and present, shone at Salon Privé in Blenheim.
Amidst the 72 meticulously restored and rare cars, divided into 14 classes, a select few BUGATTIs stood out. These vehicles were evaluated by a panel of the world’s most knowledgeable experts, who judged them based on beauty, history, and condition.
Committed to excellence, the judges awarded a stunning 1939 BUGATTI Type 57 Cabriolet as a winner, with the 1927 BUGATTI Type 38 Philadelphia by Figoni earning honourable mention in the “Grand Prix to Grand Touring” class. A 1932 BUGATTI Type 55 by Gangloff was also recognized as “Most Elegant” for its beauty and sophistication.
A highlight of the week was the presence of three BUGATTI VEYRONs, a model that revolutionized the automotive world and paved the way for the remarkable super cars on the lawn.
