Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane & marc_shaiman delivered heartfelt musical comedy at its finest in honor of the great Mel Brooks. im.angelabassett - beacon of light that she is, shone the light of perspective + hope + encouragement that one day we won’t have to heavily rely on firsts - that we can and will truly be seen for all that we are. Carol Littleton moved us with her passion and empathy as the driving force behind her legendary editing, and Michelle Satter reminded us that true collaboration is never devoid of care, nurturing, and the safety of being free to fail. I love that I get to be part of this space, to bear witness, learn and grow with artists. I feel inspired to work to make movies that are for ALL OF US. #GovernorAwards 🤍
