Today marks 2 years since the abhorrent attack on the Capitol and our democracy. Election deniers violently stormed the Capitol on January 6th, 2021 after being emboldened by then-President Donald Trump who claimed the election was stolen and Joe Biden wasn't the rightful victor. They waged war on Congress—its ability to function and its members. The attack was an act of treason, and those who participated are traitors to the United States of America.
