National Women’s History Month continues as we say thanks to the women of hokieslax. A Hokie is a turkey-like creature whose form has evolved from the original school mascot of the Fighting Gobbler. The women athletes of Virginia Tech fielded their first lacrosse team in the spring of 1995.
