Here are some memorable images from the recent CHS House Induction Ceremony, where our Class of 2028 found out which part of the CHS House System they will belong to. Teacher (and Campion Head of House) Bryce Hopkins ’08 welcomed our freshmen during a rollicking program that included several traditions of each house, along with some new ones (this is believed to be Grimace’s first appearance at historic Scaccia Auditorium). All students are members of one of six houses named after prominent Jesuits — Arrupe, Campion, Gonzaga, Jogues, Loyola and Xavier — and the competition, brotherhood and camaraderie of the pioneering CHS House System carry through their four years. The CHS House System builds an additional infrastructure of smaller communities within our larger school community.
