Mom and I went on a 12 mile bike ride today. Tomorrow is her birthday!!! June of 2019 she went through a surprise, open heart surgery. She told the doctor she needed to recover in 8 weeks time because she had already paid for a bike trip in Ireland. A bike trip with average biking days 25 - 30 miles!!! She did go! My sister and I went, along with her husband and his daughter! We had a fun time! While she didn’t ride every day and she didn’t ride as far, she still went and got to see the sights and castles!!!! Jan of 2020 she got to swim with dolphins and take another bike trip in Key West!!! She’s gotten some additional fun times with her grandsons and the rest of the family!!! So here she is for another birthday!!!!!
