For those of you keeping count with me....I’m a year and a few months into still healing a hamstring issue. Possible tear 🤷♀️
(I don’t mention it much so you probably aren’t following along 🤣)
I just want to mention again, that’s is perfectly fine to modify workout moves as needed!!!
🌸 Modifications and rests can help us prevent injury!
🌸 They can also help us recover from injuries
💙 Maybe we are still working on gaining strength in moves
💙 Maybe we are modifying to keep proper form for safety
💙 Maybe we have range of motion limitations that force us to modify
💙 Maybe we are just easing back into a routine after an illness or injury
💙 Maybe ...it’s something else
🌸 Any reason is an acceptable reason to modify. It’s your workout!!!
🌸 Don’t forget that rest days are helpful, necessary and should be enjoyed any day you’re too sick to get it done!
