#StudyAbroadSpotlight: Meet CALS student McKenna Stout! 🌟🌍 McKenna studied abroad in South Africa in the summer of 2023 through the Wildlife Management and Conservation program.
As an animal science major with a concentration in pre-veterinary bioscience, McKenna was able to gain insight into her career path through her study abroad experience.

I also took a class about parasites and diseases in South African large animals, and I enjoyed hearing from local farmers about their real-time problem-solving skills. I also attended a fascinating class on fish anesthesia and surgery. Before taking the course, I didn’t know you could put a fish under!”
