A temporary injunction has been set in place for the use of ‘Hold On, I’m Coming’ by #IssacHayes for #DonaldTrump and his campaign. ___________________________________ This was decided after the estate of Isaac Hayes pursued an emergency injunction stopping DonaldTrump and the campaign from using the song at events. This decision was made after Trump used the song during his campaign before allegedly being granted the usage right. ___________________________________ On Sept. 3, Judge Thomas Thrash Jr. ruled in Atlanta, GA stating the following: “I do order Trump and his campaign not to use the song without proper license”. Although this decision terminates further usage without licensing, the motion by the Haynes estate to take down any previous uses of the song was denied.
