It was just a good way to frame what we need to be reminded of from time to time, which is that ACLS is the beginning of resuscitation. Not the end of it. Someone with very little working knowledge of resuscitation, evidence-based resuscitations, and best resuscitation practices can do well with ACLS. A veteran provider who keeps up with the latest science, data, and practices and can think critically through that can most likely improve upon ACLS to the degree that ACLS just isn’t something they consider at all.
