During the Children's Law Concentration Graduation Breakfast, Brittany Roberts '22 received the 2022 Children's Law Concentration Distinguished Student Award. She says she was inspired to pursue a career in children's law after receiving help from family law advocates as an adolescent: "I wanted to help children who might have been in those tough spots like I was." After considering several law schools, the Florida-native ultimately decided to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law to participate in its Children's Law Concentration program. Students enrolled in the School of Law's Juris Doctor (JD) program have an opportunity to concentrate in an area of law that benefits children and families, including family law, juvenile justice, education law, and child protection and welfare. Today, 16 #UofSCLaw students will graduate with a JD and their Children’s Law Concentration certificate. Congratulations to all of the certificate recipients! 🔎 Link in bio to learn more...
