Adrian College Athletic Director Craig Rainey has announced the hiring of Chad Davis as head coach of the Women’s Ice Hockey program. Davis returns to the Bulldogs for his second stint as head coach with the women’s team, leaving back in 2018.
Davis, a native of Allen Park, MI, was a goalie at American International College from 2001-2004 where he appeared in 52 games for a 10-35-3 record. He also played for the Compuware Ambassadors of the
#NAHL prior to college.
He returns to Adrian College after serving as head coach from 2011-2018 where he accumulated a record of 150-37-10, which continues to be the record for most wins by an Adrian women’s ice hockey coach. While with the Bulldogs, Davis was named
#NCHA Coach of the Year four times and was
#NCAA Division III COTY in 2017. His teams won four
#NCHA Regular Season Championships & three Slaats Cup Championships. He led the team to a
#NCAA Division III National Championship appearance in 2017.
