The Roberto Clemente Award presented by @capitalone is the annual recognition of a Major League player who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy, and positive contributions, both on and off the field. This year the @redsox have the honor of nominating Liam Hendriks for baseball’s most prestigious individual honor. During his time with the team, Liam has made a tremendous effort to give back to our Red Sox community through his Hendriks’ Heroes program and beyond. Between hosting cancer patients and survivors for both home and away games and serving as this year’s @redsoxfoundation Run to Home Base Captain, Liam has also championed LGBTQ+ efforts, and regularly volunteers at the New England Center and Home for Veterans.
