I've always admired Phil Mickelson for his short game and it was with him that I first saw the backflip. There's a video on YouTube of him on the old Karsten Creek course in Arizona. He's only 20 years old. I tried the shot there a few times and whenever I see a situation where you can do it, I try it. Especially when things aren't going so well, it always reminds me that I play golf because I enjoy it and I just want to play.
