Desert Swing 3/3 - Ras Al Khaimah Championship at alhamragolfclub Coming out of the Monday-finish in Dubai everybody seemed to be quite flat arriving in RAK. Fitness and sleep were the priorities this week. A bit of extra work on the putting green on Wednesday night helped to improve my putting in Round 1. Every day my game was solid but not spectacular, with 2-3 mistakes per round adding up considerably. My 4th round was certainly the best one tee to green, just very cold with the putter again. But it was good to take the lesson from the week before; no matter where you are in the standings, always try to finish strong so you can leave with a positive feeling. We did that well! 71-71-73-70 for a 51st place is nothing spectacular yet, but good to play 4 rounds again and get the game dialed in under tournament conditions. Al Hamra GC was a tough test this year with extremely narrow fairways (sometimes 10-15m only) and thick difficult rough with zero control. Thanks to rakgolfchamps...
