Holland 🇳🇱 Today, 75 years ago, our country was liberated from WW II. #bevrijdingsdag #5mei #freedom #vrijheid With the current corona virus 🦠 putting countries in lockdown, I think it can teach many of our own generation what it is like to have our freedom impeded, since we’re all so used to having tremendous freedom to do/say/be whatever the heck we want. Although it will obviously never compare to the cruel days of wartime, it has definetely taught me to appreciate our freedom even more. Today we celebrate our freedom, and we honour the heroes who have stood for it. 🇳🇱👊🙏
