My brother-in-law and I built our own weightlifting platform and gym when we were in college, and we dreamed of outfitting it with Eleiko weights. However, we were in college and obviously could not afford it. Today, I got to visit the Eleiko factory in Halmstad, Sweden!! It was so cool to hear their origin story (electric appliances) , to how they became the industry standard for barbells.
