On Friday our campus community came together as Jesuit schools have done for hundreds of years, gathering at the start of the academic year for the Mass of the Holy Spirit.

President Fr. David Ciancimino, S.J., celebrated the Mass, in which we gathered to thank God and to seek the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit for this school year, a tradition of Jesuit academic institutions that dates back to 1548.
Concelebrants of the Mass were Director of Campus Ministry Fr. Chuck Frederico, S.J.; Assistant to the President Fr. Richard Zanoni, S.J.; Assistant to the Principal Fr. Edward Durkin, S.J.; and CHS Trustee Fr. Jason Downer, S.J., who is the Superior of the Canisius, LeMoyne and McQuaid Jesuit Communities.
