“I love water polo for the team aspect. I love that we get the opportunity to put in the work together, compete for each other, and experience all the good and tough moments together as a team. Michigan water polo fosters a culture of being more than just teammates. We are best friends and I’m so grateful to share this bond with all of them. One of my favorite water polo memories is from my sophomore year when I scored the game-winning goal against ASU during overtime. It felt great to win the game, but the best part was coming out of the pool and being celebrated with hugs and high-fives from everyone. These big moments are really cool, but it’s all the little moments of camaraderie that happen day in and day out that make a team so special.
