Last week at the lexususa #WSLFinals, we had the opportunity to come together with sea.and.soil, castateparks, the Juaneño Band of Mission Indians Acjachemen Nation, the Pechanga Band of Payómkawichum Nation, and an amazing group of volunteers to give back to the coastal ecosystems that make Trestles so special. Working side by side, we cleared 200 pounds of invasive plants and gathered tule, honoring traditions that have protected this land long before us 🌾 Sea + Soil’s mission reminds us that the health of the land and sea are deeply intertwined with surfing’s cultural heritage. By restoring native plants and preserving Indigenous practices, we’re not just healing the environment—we’re nurturing the connection between people and place.
