Want to perform better under pressure? Here are 3 things you can do to help you out! 1. BREATHE Take a deep breath Relax your whole body and focus on your breathing. 4 second inhale, 4 second hold, 4 second exhale. 2. VISUALIZATION Have a routine. Before the game or in between whistles visualise what you want to do out on the ice. Scoring a big goal or making a series of saves. Visualise it! Feel it! 3. USE EXPERIENCE Pressure is only happening inside your own head. You have probably played in big games before or stressful situations. If you haven’t that’s okay because your brain doesn’t know the difference. The worst that can happen is you have a bad game. Big Deal.
