I've had the Google Pixel 9 XL since it came out and I've been shooting various test videos just to see how they turn out. They have a feature called 'video boost' that upconverts them to 8k quality, often adding some saturation and other edits to the videos in an attempt to make them look better. This is one of the random videos. Turned out pretty good! Video boosting also stabilizes the footage a bit, makes it smoother, and tends to normalize the audio. There's four things I don't like about video boost: • In order to use video boost, you need to back the video up to your Google account, taking up a lot of space. The raw (unedited) video from this post was 850 MB. The finished video boosted size was 7.8 MB. Google accounts come with 15 GB.
