The Cincinnati Reds are getting new helmets next season, along with the rest of Major League Baseball, if they make the postseason. MLB announced a new deal with German sports apparel company, Strauss, that secures their logo on all MLB helmets for every playoff game through 2027. Ads of 5-by-0.92 inches (12.7-by-2.3 centimeters) will be on each side of every helmet featuring “STRAUSS” in capital letters in white alongside the company’s ostrich logo silhouetted by a red square, with an alternate color for red helmets. All minor league teams will also sport the new logo on every helmet for every game through 2027.
