#animaloftheweek Meet Athena! This intelligent, adventurous, and playful pup has been at SHS for over 600 days. This three-year-old would make a wonderful dog for anyone who has an active lifestyle and is looking for a companion on their adventures! Athena has a lot of energy and needs to go to an adult-only and cat-free home. She's truly an incredible pup with lots of love to give and is hoping to find the perfect person who will take a chance on her. If you're interested in meeting Athena, make an appointment for our main shelter (6607 N Havana St.) online! 🧡🐾
