One of Hong Kong’s greatest stars and highest earning-racehorse of all time, Golden Sixty, has been retired at the age of 9. The son of Medaglia d’Oro, trained by Francis Lui and owned by Stanley Chan, was named Hong Kong Horse of the Year three times and earned a staggering $21,364,068 in prize money.
“Golden Sixty has been more than just a racehorse to me and my family. He has been a companion, a friend, and a true champion. Watching him compete has been one of the greatest joys of my life,” Chan said.
