#PittCSD PhD students Mandy Mahoney and Erin Lucatorto and their startup company, AcceloWave Technologies, have become as finalists in the Michael H. Wells Student Healthcare Competition, through the Pitt Innovation Institute by advancing through the “elevator pitch” semifinal competition. Their new startup is based on the research and development conducted in Dr. Coyle’s lab over the past 12 years. Our team will be paired with a business mentor, attend the Finalist Kickoff Event on September 11th, submit a marketing brief for their “Aspirometer” system, and compete in the Final Pitch competition on October 24th at the Courtyard Marriott in Oakland. Funds earned will be used to support additional pre-commercialization activities and validation testing.#PittSHRS
