This year, COVID 19 stopped us from hosting the annual Mass Communication Recognition Dinner. The event is held each spring to honor graduating students, celebrate student achievements, and distribute awards and scholarships from the department and professional communication associations. The PR Principles class was working hard to make the event unforgettable! Their event theme was Growing in the Field, suggesting renewal and new beginnings. They had designed invitations (seen below), selected the dinner menu, and made the seating chart. While we are sad to have missed a fantastic event, in the coming days we will be recognizing award winners, scholarship recipients, and notable events in the Mass Communication department. #MCOMAwards #MCOMRecognition #GrowInTheField
