🔥 Brazil is on fire. The Amazon is on fire! 🔥 In August, the fires in the Amazon, Cerrado and Pantanal increased dramatically. Many fires are still burning. Impunity and the lack of effective action are destroying Brazil’s biomes and putting people’s health at risk. Amid yet another heatwave and dry weather, the effects are being felt throughout the country. We need urgent actions: punishing those responsible, prevention and combating deforestation.
