Monday's #OzoneDay celebrates the landmark 1987 #UnitedNations agreement, called the 'Montreal Protocol', which helped phase out the production and use of ozone-depleting substances to protect the ozone layer, while also looking to the future for deeper and faster action. The ongoing healing of the ozone layer is an inspirational example of how the international community can come together to address global challenges. It demonstrates that through joint #ClimateAction, we can win the race against the climate crisis - for people, for climate and for the planet.
