Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspect in the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at his Florida golf course, is facing one charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one charge of possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number. The first charge comes with a penalty of up to 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, while the second has a penalty of up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
