Principal Tom Coppola ’01 announced our National Merit Scholarship semifinalists on our announcements this morning. The semifinalists were revealed by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, and the 16,000 who are being honored represent less than 1 percent of U.S. high school seniors Semifinalists in the 70th annual program were determined by their performance on the Preliminary SAT; the PSAT is also titled the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
