Gateway to Media, an 8-credit course SOJC students and alumni know all too well, is finally coming to an end 😢 Gateway to Media, or “Gateway” as it’s known by SOJC students, was designed to challenge and grow their storytelling abilities while expanding on critical and creative thinking. The course served its purpose well, but starting in the fall it will be be replaced with three new classes: JCOM 202 How Stories Work and JCOM 102/103: Storycraft Audio and Visual. 🚨THESE NEW CLASSES WILL NOT BE REQUIRED FOR ANY STUDENT WHO HAS ALREADY TAKEN GATEWAY🚨 We gave the students in Allen a chance to say their final goodbyes.
