Its World Vitiligo Day 🤍🤎 I’ve heard when people think of vitiligo They think of Micheal Jackson & Me. But Vitiligo is so much more complex than just 2 people. When I think of vitiligo, I think of how lonely it was growing up feeling like the only person in the world who was different like me.. Flash forward I remember shooting this vogue cover and speaking to the editor about how he wanted to make this cover powerful and different. Well There’s power in numbers! “Stronger Together” I remember talking to him about this beautiful girl named Shahad from Saudi posting me excited about her resemblance to me because of her Vitiligo. I’m so happy she had someone to relate to. That’s human nature 🫶🏾 we long for that connection I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, getting messages from and getting tagged by so many of you over the years and just like you finally get to see yourself through me, I get to see myself through you.
