Calls for Action is an innovative art installation linking a Western Andean Cloud Forest in Ecuador with Basel, Switzerland – bridging vast distances to show the interconnectivity of Earth’s ecosystems. The forest pictured in the real-time video in the art installation is being permanently conserved with support from the artist and exhibiting institution. Inviting the public to become participants and protectors, listening and lending their voices to one of our planet’s critical places of biodiversity, the artwork is created by artist julian.charriere.
